Some gushing occurs then I opened the bottle. The colour is gold, the liquid clear. The finger thick white head sinks slowly leaving minimal lacing on the glass. Yeast sediments in the bottle.
The smell is a bit unclean. Vegetables, dough, yeast. Almost no noticeable bitterness. Unfinished.
The taste is a bit cleaner: Robust malts (Dortmund Export style), smooth sweet flavours, passing notes of sweet green berries and fruits. Detergents? Some hay and grass. Unclean warming alcohol in the aftertaste as well as some biscuits, light clean bitter flavours and fresh bread. Alcohol in the finish.
The carbonation is strong and short, the bubbles small. The liquid is semi-smooth.
It reminds me of several brewpub lagers of Northern Germany and Denmark. Could be cleaner, though. Some uncleanness, but it got some charm anyhow.
