Really cool brewpub in downtown Oslo. Obviously super expensive bc it’s the Nordics but the quality matches. Lots of their own beers but some proper guest beers, as well. An impressive bottle collection on the walls from all over the world. Rustic interior and good vibes.

Visited the brewpub and restaurant in the daytime, quiet then, and the TV screens were off. Their own brewed beers are only part of the lure here, they have also a wide selection of other beers, with short tasting notes in the menu. They even had Westvleteren 12 and 8, only place in Norway I’ve seen them. Nice interior, central location, friendly staff. Decent food too. Will surely come back.

English style pub in the middle of Oslo. We stopped in on a Sunday evening and had a very good experience with the beers and food. Very good selection and variety for an international bar.

This is an informal place located on the road leading to the City Hall of Oslo (from the land side).
The beer list is very, very expensive by American standards ($12+ for each bottle of beer; a little less for drafts). The list is extensive with some of the very best beers from Europe and the US. The Norwegian beers are the usuals.
Service improved after we settled in. The workers are friendly and moderately knowledgable of the beers they are serving.
We only ordered dessert which was fine. The other plates we saw looked quite good.

Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri
I visited this cozy place during a vacation trip to Oslo. Situated on a busy block near a main park and tourist heavy locations like the Royal Palace. Inside, medium sized bar and a soccer bar feel, casual with a few outside picnic tables for smokers. Beer memorabilia all over the place. Nothing incredible, but pleasent enough.
We only had time for a quick lunch and so I just asked the waitress for her favorite of their beers, she selected a US-West Coast Style IPA that was a nice representation of the style, fresh, and tasty. It appeared they had eight of their own beers on tap, with a number of guest bottles and offerings.
For food, my wife selected scallops cooked in white wine while I opted for a traditional pairing of Norweigian Meats (five styles, served on a tray) and breads. The food was wonderful and tasty and went well with my beer.
Service was ok, had a few translation issues but nothing major. Could have been friendlier also but again, not a huge deal.
Oslo is incredibly expensive for us Americans, this establishment was no different. Very expensive.
Overall, a nice stop and a solid place in the middle of a nice City. I didn't get to do that much but from what I had I can comfortably recommend a stop in if you visit the city.
