Copenhagen 10/6 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Frb. Chubby Monkey head on the label. Says "Imported Indian Beer" but seems to originate from West Bromwich.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Disappears almost immediately. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, malt and corn. Stuffy refrigerator and some chemical odor to it all. Light notes of acetone.
Strong carbonation. Lively and prickly mouth sensation. Thin, watery texture.
Flavor is quite sweet. Only very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish.
Seems to me to be a quite accurate replication of many Indian beers as it does not taste of very much and is quite watery. And at some point in the future I hope somebody will explain how they got the "naturally filtered original waters originating from the foothills of the Himalayas" transported to West Bromwich.

330ml bottle from Home Bargains:
Another incredibly bad beer from the brewery although not quite as bad as the last from them, their Shimla offering was a whole lot worse. Perhaps because I had them one after the other, the blow was already soften with this one as I'd mentally prepared myself more. Regardless, this one was a terrible and cheap offering with basic, skunky flavours and no balance. Again one to avoid.
