Very light body. Modest head, slight carbonation. Kind of like Budweiser with a dose of hops. Or maybe Corona without the malt. Rather tangy, which is about as good as it gets. No trace of the hoped-for fruity hop flavors, just bitterness. Unpleasant aftertaste. Bitter with a touch of dirt.
According to the brewery: 3.7% ABV. Hops are Perle and Tettnang with lager fermentation. 9 IBU.

On tap at Yard House, poured a clear gold, smallish white head that disappeared quickly, lace formed a velum like sheet. Nose sweet malt, crisp and clean. Start was sweet with malt, slight hop bite at back. Top light to moderate in feel. Finish had a biting acidity, the hops apropos to the style, dry lingering aftertaste, refreshing, but unremarkable.

Had this at the bayhawk brewery. Didn't even realize that was an Irvine-centered brewery till recently.
Pours a (wait for it...) golden blonde. No real smell, small head. Taste is malty, somewhat forgettable. Mouthfeel is a tad thin.
A decent beer, but not my favorite of this brewery.

Had on tap at the Yardhouse. Has a good consistent appearance. As far as the smell is concerned, this beer lacks much of any aroma. The beer tastes a little watery and blah. The mouthfeel is very light and just a bit flat. While it is weak in other categories, this brew is however quite drinkable, but then again so is water. Overall it is a decent beer, you can do better, but you could do much worse.
