Deep orange liquid, off white head, doesn't do anything from there. Very little hop aroma.
Bitter. Not much hop flavor impact. Alcohol heat too noticeable. Too much caramel and toffee. Below average stuff for sure.

I think this was carried at aloha liquors just because of the name, I've never seen it anywhere else before.
Poured out an orange color, the head was beige for some reason, no lacing, or retention, but I really liked the color of it. Aroma was woefully inadequate for a west coast dipa. It wasn't bad, just inadequate. Maybe some cascade hops noticeable, these guys didn't put any proprietary blends in the dry hopping, that is for sure.
Bittersweet taste, hop flavor is minimal. Its abrasive bitterness first, a little bit of sweet toffee and caramel malt tones underneath it all. A little too much metallica in the mouthfeel. Alcohol is not hidden in this one.
I might be being generous here with the score because the price was right ($4.5) for a bomber. Anyways, not recommended, below average for a dipa.
