The gose is a traditional German style known for its wheat base, tartness, and saltiness. We kettle sour our version, resulting in a pleasant lemon note that balances the sea salt nicely. Oh – and then we dry hop it to accentuate the aromas. The soul of Fu Manbrew lives on in this beer, with its crisp taste and pristine mustache.

12 oz. brown bottle purchased near the brewery and served in a tulip glass.
BB date 27 Sept. 2016.
Hazy golden color with a good white head that shows partial retention.
Aroma: lemon-orange with subtle wheat bready.
Flavor: rather tart and moderately fruity. Touches of yeast, salt, lemons. imes and oranges. Not at all sweet but only very light bitterness.
Lively carbonation; medium-light in body; dry finish.
Overall: with some overly aged citrus fruit notes, this is still good but not up with the Yazoo gose I had the other day.

I've been really getting into sour beers so I was happy when I saw this, it's a great idea to make a gose based on fu manbrew.
It's very light with a small head.
The tartness is very clean. The saltiness is very light in my opinion, I've had saltier, though I think it's enough.
Overall it's very delicious.
