Brewed with lactose sugar, this unfiltered pale has a chewy malt backbone with explosions of hops, resulting in a stratospheric experience.
A juicy, pale ale. Unfiltered and flavorful, Han Brolo has a full-bodied, chewy mouthfeel. A huge dry hop gives this beer notes of tangerine and grapefruit. A lactose addition during brewing adds silkiness. At only 4.7% ABV, it’s a beer you can keep coming back to without sacrificing flavor.

Appearance: Slightly hazy pale yellow. Fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Grapefruit, oranges, and peppery
Flavor: Grapefruit, oranges and pepper and herbs. Low sweetness. Low to moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Soft by drying at the finish. Moderate length finish. Trailing bitterness.
Overall: Leans more toward a session IPA than a typical American Pale Ale. It pours a hazy pale yellow color with a large, fluffy head consisting of some large bubbles. Citrus aromas dominate the nose. Fruit forward flavor of grapefruit mixed with black pepper are quite pronounced. Very similar to Founders All Day IPA. Bitterness is noticeable, moving toward medium from restrained. While most would describe this Pale Ale as balanced, I would say that the grapefruit-like taste very much overshadows any sweetness from the malts; however, it does seem to become more balanced as your palate adjusts.

Very hoppy with grapefruit and lemon. I love most of Monday Nights lineup. I do like fruit forward beer, like wine.

12 oz can, "chewiest by" 3/2/21, into Ploughshare glass.
A hazy light colored blonde with a creamy cap of 2 fingers, receding to 1, leaving lace.
Lactose sweetness is apparent in the nose yet not overdone, some fresh pine bed and tropical fruit. Cracker/biscuit malt.
Flavor brings pine, mango, lactose, grass, grapefruit, orange peel, and papaya. Light caramel malt. Pretty tropical. Nice mix.
Feel is prickly and very busy, mild heat @ 4.7%, some resins and dryness on the finish.
Overall not a bad trial. Maybe not something I'd return to but this isn't shabby by any stretch.

I'm trying this beer at Blackstone Pub & Eatery. The beer poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

From the Legacy single shelf offering,
LOOK: Poured into a 10oz. pilsner glass. Pours slightly less than crystal clear with a touch of haze. Produces a prominent white head that has some pretty good retention, and some solid side glass lace while slowly receding.
Pretty impressive
AROMA: Strong acerbic citrus scents, especially grapefruit, perhaps mango as well. Has some bread dough and some yeast scents.
TASTE: Tart, grapefruit.
FEEL: Tart, and bitter.
It's OK but not in my wheelhouse and the style characteristics are more closely aligned with IPA's
