Not a whole lot to say about this beer overall, other than this is a pretty perfect representation of the style. Definitely a tasty beer for the summer, and one that I thoroughly enjoy for being a homegrown hefeweizen.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a slightly murky gold color with a small white head. The aroma is wheat and grain. The taste is wheat and citrus.

12 ounce can - Charlie's Beer & Wine in Marietta, Georgia.
Best By... gotta say, guys, I don't agree with the policy of aiming the dater at the bottom rim of the can. I can never make out the intended date. Maybe a perceived day, perhaps a hint as to the intended year, but that's about it.
Appearance: Pours a yellow-hued body, slightly cloudy with a thinning, white head.
Smell: Malted wheat and damp ground grains underneath some ethereal esters and phenols. Restrained albeit pleasant, juicy orange scent.
Taste: Wheat malt with a sprinkling of confectioners' sugar. A tangy citrusy, orange-forward flavor spreads its wings early on. As with the aroma, the banana and yeast phenolics are on the lighter side. The wheat, the yeast slowly recede leaving the orange to sustain you through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Moderate carbonation.
Overall: A sufficient hefe with an orangey twist about it.
