12 oz can with a partially legible BB date stamp of 2018.
A: The beer pours very dark mahogany brown, looking near black in the glass; a deep ruby color is visible at the edges of the glass under bright light. The moderate size, tan colored head was durable and left short-lived sheets of lacing on the sides.of the glass.
Attractive aroma of sweet and roasted malts with subtle coffee. The taste reveals more, but still mild coffee, along with light spicy hops. Mildly bitter with hints of chocolate.
Feel: Very smooth, medium body; some dryness; moderate carbonation.
Overall: a fine, low ABV coffee stout.

12 ounce can - Charlie's Beer & Wine in Marietta, Georgia.
Monday Night is currently doing their dating not on the very bottom of the cans. Instead, they are aiming their dater at the edge of the bottom lip of the can. So, sometimes you get a decent date, something not really at all. I've got "BEST BY **/1*/2018, but the beer just came out, so we should be good to go, folks.
Appearance: Pours a very dark brown body with a foamy, frothy, tanned head. Moderate amount of lacing.
Smell: Toasted coffee beans, roasted barley malt - or is it the other way around? Touches of darkish, unsweetened chocolate and light fruity esters.
Taste: Bounces in-between being roasty (but not quite) and toasty (but not quite), riding that fine line where you're not sure which is dark grain roastiness or roastiness gleened from the inclusion of coffee. Minimal sweetness throughout. Light hop flavor contribution, a bit earhty, though any bitterness seems more likely a bestowment of either the toasty-roasty grains or roasty-toasty coffee. Just a tiny tiny bit of chocolate and dark fruitiness works its way in on the back-half. Roasty-toasty finish with some lingering coffee, non-sweet chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Pretty good.

Not bad. Just nothing very standout. Coffee is barely there, and it otherwise tastes like drinking a Guinness. Light on the mouthfeel and not much on the nose at all. Came off more like a porter than a stout. But it was certainly drinkable and it was refreshing to drink a stout that you could have a few of and not be completely drunk. Probably wouldn’t get again though.
