Pillowy, light and hazy. This is a hazy wheat pale ale that's easy drinking, full of malt flavor with just enough hop bite to keep you wanting more. Citra and Simcoe hops work nicely with Munich and Pilsner malts. Adding wheat to the mix smooths this one out.

A: Really hazy orangeish yellow, 1/2 inch white head,
S: Piney hops
T: Piney, floral hops, bread, yeast
M: Medium
O: Lots more hops than I was expecting. Wheat not as much of a factor as I thought it would be.

12 ounce can - $2.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
PKG121018.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy, slightly milky, pale yellow body with a medium-sized, white head. Light lacing.
Smell: Flaked wheat with a note, a tone of light graininess to it and a soft undercurrent of crustless bread. Fruity, floral hops with touches of grapefruit, lime and muscats.
Taste: Bready wheatiness with a restrained dusting of powdered sugar. A small touch of cream. Fruity hops follow the flavors of the aroma, particularly the green muscat taste. A little zip of tart acidity. Fairly restrained bitterness is barely felt. Final tingle of lightly sweetish, fruity citrus on the swallow for a juicy feel.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-soft carbonation.
Overall: A soft, smooth wheat ale housing a rounded, juicy, fruity Citra-Simcoe combo. While it seems a bit of an odd choice for a mid-December release, it's pretty good and a welcome addition to the MN stable.

Had from an uber fresh can Dec 2018 (missed exact date)
Just another great offering from 2018's most improved brewery in Georgia; this one falls into the new wheat ale category that drinks like a "junior" hazy IPA: soft, juicy, pillowy; reference Pulp by Civil Society as the premier version of this style
Way to go MNB!

Pours hazy, as advertised, bright golden yellow. Decent white head, which subsided quickly.
Aroma of huge grapefruit and lemon peel, some grassy/wheat notes.
Tastes follows, which a huge pop of citra hops, grapefruit, lemon, lime, pomelo. Great malt background but is not heavy at all. All hops and citrus.
So light bodied—but full of flavor. Nicely carbonated.
Not a blow you away beer. But a hoppy wheat pale I would reach for time and time again. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
