Pours a lovely cranberry hue with a translucent clarity and a rocky, off-white/pinkish head embedded with ringlets and pinpricks that quickly sizzles and pops as it recedes. Nose is interesting and complex - notes of grapes upfront; oak and tannins in the background. Taste consistent with nose with the addition of some buttery notes and hints of cranberry. Mouthfeel is light in body with a spritzy carbonation and a acidic burn at the finish. Overall, a solid American Wild with a nice level of complexity.
