Pours a deep copper color mostly clear with a nice big fluffy head from an aggressive pour. Head falls slowly laces well.
Aroma is rich caramel malts big backbone with an underlying citrus resin dankness of an aged big IPA but according to the date its freshest until 9/30/22 so guess its not old. few odd tropical notes around but defiantly west coast style here.
Taste follows the nose a nice chewy caramel malt backbone with aged like hop resin notes, not as strong as the nose would have you believe at least not in the alpha department anyway. maybe not the best IPA as far as brightness or bitterness overload but I am enjoying the flavor and it not being hazy I guess.
Mouthfeel is a big medium nice malty IPA , medium level of carbonation.
Overall I am liking it and would have again if I see it.
