500ML bottle. Monday Night was one of the early places I traveled to as a pure beer nerd in April 2012 & dragged two of my work mates with me. I don’t think they were amused.

Black & quickly still, unlike any child I’ve ever had. The nose is rich chocolate with surprisingly little barrel character.

Tie XII On bifurcates immediately; half rushes to the brain, the other half to the liver. 13.9%? That seems low. Sehr boozy. Again, rich. And not only the chocolate, but the small field of cereal grains jammed into the little bottle, also adding sweetness. The barrels bring a myriad of flavors: mostly bourbon, with a good bit of rye in the background & a fingerful of apple brandy. Full & belly warming. Not going to have any trouble putting this one down.

Gorgeous beer. Not every brewery can pull off a blend without shatting it up. Excellent bordering on magnificent.

A sweet and boozy beer. Rich on dark malt, bittersweet chocolate, toasted oak, and sweet vanilla. Slightly thick, hint of syrupyness, big bodied and bold. Hot alcohol presence-letting it age might mellow that out. Started drinking it from the fridge and it seemed a little thin. Room temp, it’s almost a different beer as it rounds out and the alcohol presence is stronger. Damn good.
