Look: It pours cloudy dark orange with an off white head. It has average head retention.
Smell: The malt is quite noticable in the aroma. It has some citrus and candy notes with lime and a bit of a flowery tinge.
Taste: It has bold citrus flavors that feature tangerine with a candy element. There are also lime notes a touch of flower and noticeable malt. The malt seems to deaden the harshness that Hazy's sometimes have.
Feel: It has a medium full body with a fairly neutral aftertaste.
Overall, the flavors are not in your face, but they are still bold and pleasant. The finish is also quality which makes this beer dangerous because it's poundable.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Lee Street brewery location as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank mango and blood orange notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with guava and mango presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

It’s a very strong Imperial IPA, overpowering somewhat, but tasty.

Thought they used the wrong yeast or too much Columbus hops. Always Monday night is heavy handed with malt. Never had a balanced beef from this brewery. Royal raptor claims to be a citrusy ipa but I found no evidence of citra or mosaic hops .
