16 ounce can - $4.50 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, dark golden-amber body with a medium-small, near-white head.
Smell: Toasted bread, a subtle, subtly sweet-scented vibe of caramel/brown sugar. Restrained pine amongst juiced stonefruits, fresh foraged berries and citrus zest.
Taste: Thankfully free of temporary layoffs, easy credit rip-offs and merely scratchin' and surviving. Slightly sugary, light blonde caramel slathered over toasted bread slices. Very minor pine with tangy apricot, berries and citrus (tangerine-grapefruit). Medium degree of bitterness. Bittersweet, tangy finish. It's going for that Sierra Nevada Celebration vibe, trying to perhaps mix it up a bit while not straying too far from the intended goal. As such, it's fine, but certainly cheaper to simply go with the original.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: I'd drink to not getting hassled, not getting hustled, but at nearly five bucks a can, I'm not sure that was the case.
