Growler. Pours a murky, yellowy color without much head. The aroma isn't too heavy. Scents of smoke, cured meats and very light spice. Honestly wouldn't point any rye out if the name didn't proclaim such a fact. The flavor is also relatively mild. I don't get too amped on smoky, meaty Rauchy brews. This one has training wheels on it and for me, I am content with that. Canadian bacon, smoke, some bready flavor, too. Lighter bodied. Mellow carbonation. Wasn't very fond of Ham On Rye.

Solid amber color with a modest haze. Small head that devolves to rim bubbles. Devoid of any lace.
Earthy, almost scorched earth, aroma. No notable hop.
I detect a bit of bandaid to the taste. This is malty as expected but doesn't have most of Märzen flavor I expect. Full bodied particularly for the style. Low carbonation.
