A - 1 inch of light, white head which quickly dissipates. Grapefruit juice colored body.
S - Perceived sourness, oak, and light fruit notes. A little funk in the back.
T - A little tart with some fruit. Not too sweet, like fresh juice. Then a good deal of tartness and sourness. Oak in the finish with some mellow sour candy. Maybe a like funk though it could be coming of the nose.
M - Medium carb. The feel of a fully bodied lager in the middle. Not too sour and super drinkable.
O - The plum and barrel aging worked out great and really helped to smooth this out. I only wish I had picked up the cherry and cranberry.

Wow. First ever Plum Berliner. Was a little skeptical going in, but they really nailed it with this one.
Bight, lively fruit on the nose and on the initial taste, then full on the mid-pallet and then a nice clean and smooth finish. You get the plum, but it's not sweet and coy. Also not as think, heavy and lager-like as I expected. More like a pilsner or classic berliner.
Only available in the brewery taproom as of 10/2014, but definitely worth trying if you visit and/or if you are a fan of the style.
