A - Thin layer of white head which quickly dissipates. Body is the color of pink lemonade.
S - Sour. A little funk and plenty of woodiness/oakiness. Not getting a whole lot of fruit.
T - Tart/sour to start, like a watered down warhead. Then some oakiness followed by slightly sour cherries, cranberry, and maybe some plum. Finishes with mellow, balanced juice-like blend of the above mentioned fruits.
M - A littler watery in the finish. Effervescent otherwise.
O - Not super sour. Really well balanced and drinkable.

A little tart for my taste, was expecting a little more sweetness to it. Made me pucker every time I drank it.

Snifter poured at the brewery. Effervescent and light pink, with practically no head.
The sign said "a combination of local fruits," and the as the bartenders were busy (and a little curt), I didn't ask which fruits were included. I could discern cherries, definitely, and probably also cranberries. But, then again, I think Ocean Spray tastes like Cranberries while actually it's like 80% apple juice, and it turns out that the "blueberries" inside blueberry waffles are actually dyed apples, and while I can tell the difference between lemon and cherry Starbursts, they don't taste a think like actual lemons and cherries. Fruits are hard, is what I'm getting at.
This... this tastes like a well-made, medium-tart Berliner that was mellowed excellently by a blend of generic fruit. The body is a little thin, and the back end is a little dull, but overall it's quite good.
People looking for super intense sourness will be disappointed, everyone else should be satisfied.

A blend of Cranberry, Cherry, & Plum Barrel-Aged Berliner Lagers. All brewery-exclusive releases.
Looks like fruit juice. The color most closely resembles pomegranate. Smells fruity, a little acidic, touch of funk. The taste really has all 3 fruits blended well - one does not dominate over the others. There's a little tartness, but oddly, it smells a bit more tart and funky than it tastes. This would really be pleasant in the summer. I only had the cranberry berliner before this - not the cherry or plum versions - and I like this blend better than the cranberry version. Definitely more of a success than not, and certainly enjoyable, but I can't help but think some added brett would do wonders for this beer. Overall it's nice, and definitely worth a try if you're at the brewery.
