Had on tap. Smoke and Dagger's older sibling, with whiskey booze, cinnamon, cocoa, and the chipotle evident in the nose and especially the taste. Really the taste executes better with the smoky base, where in the smell it is good but more muddled. Feel has smoke and that nice level of spice kick. Certainly unique and entertaining.

A - Dark mahogany body with ruby highlights. Creamy off-white head with great retention but relatively low lace.
S - Ouh. Delicious spicy cinnamon is loaded through the nose and laced with dark chocolate.
T - Apple cinnamon, bread dough, heavy cream, toffee, light milk chocolate, and a delicious chilly warmth that builds throughout the drink.
M - Smooth medium light body with great staying power through the finish.
O - A outstanding twist on the Mexican-Stout concept.

Smell is all vanilla. Taste is smokey Chipotle, subtle cinnamon, vanilla. Mouthfeel really brings this down. It has a weird woodsy, sweet flavor towards the end. Tastes like it's aged in tequila barrels, not whiskey.

This a really fun beer. The chocolate, cinnamon, and chipotle are very noticeable with out being over powering. The sweet of the cacao and cinnamon hit your tongue immediately. It's pleasant with out being cloying. The bite of the alcohol passes quickly leaving a pleasant burn of the pepper to tingle your palate.
