A good beer but the Cordon Rouge, normal BBA, and BBA Coffee are all better.

Had this in a 4 beer sampler. I am pretty sure it was the double barrel aged Framinghammer. Beer had a brown-black appearance with a dark brown head that mostly formed a ring around the glass. Aromas were strong of bourbon booze and malts. The taste was really nice with a somewhat chocolate, bourbon flavor with some spice. Creamy texture with decent carbonation for its mouthfeel. Overall, I liked this one a lot, especially its aromas and taste.

Had this on draft at the brewery. A little mixed nose for this beer some brandy and bourbon in the nose. Perhaps a little to much barrel in this for me. I think with all barrel in this beer that the base beer loses in the battle. A solid beer but not my favorite in the many BA Framinghammers that they have put out.
