Appearance: Pours a hazy ice tea color with a creamy tan head; a smattering of lace hangs around
Smell: Caramel and the biscuit; banana, fig and grassy tones
Taste: Caramel forward with apple, banana and fig developing; a bit grassy through the middle, with a finish that is herbal and fruity
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I like Jack's Abby beers but this one didn't do much for me

Poured from the bottle into an elongated tulip glass.
Creamed light tan to khaki colored head of about a finger. Settles nicely to about half sized, with a body color in chestnut amber hues and an opaque appearance.
Light malts, a minor bit of toast, and a nice yeast profile. Dark bread sensations, almost rye like interestingly. A very nice fruity ester coming off, almost wine and sweet grape like in particular.
Palate profile is very nice. Soft malt and sweet wine grape flavor on first sip. Mid palate has a Concord grape like quality, with a small hint of pepper qualities as well. Slight caramel sweetness added on with the grape like flavor which makes for a nice mix. Peppery light tasty carbonation, but not overly so. Mouthfeel manages to stay simple and pleasant even with some prickly play.
An interesting Biere de Garde to say the least.

Poured a slightly cloudy reddis gold color with a huge tan head that persisted and clung to the glass.
On the aroma, there is toasted malt, caramel sweet, a little alcohol.
The taste is sweet and on the toasted biscuit side of malty, slight caramel or toffee. The alcohol is quite noticeable for a 6.9% beer. As it warms, there is a very slight and quite vague fruity flavor.
It has a heavyness to it that isnt objectionable, but makes the beer feel hearty. It does drink quite smoothly.
There is no mistake that this beer is all about the malt. There is no hop presence. I would have to say it is quite true to the style description. I like it for what it is. No pretense, nothing magical, just a solid lager.

Poured into a pint glass.
Copper and cloudy with a nice beige fluffy head. Very thick looking like an unfiltered cider.
Malt and nothing much is picked up. Very little earthy notes are picked up.
Sweet malt biscuit is very pronounced in the taste. A slight bitterness at the end. The Hopness is almost missed really subtle. There are some notes of bananas and sweet fruits.
Very good medium body and kind of sticky.
This beer is on the sweeter side but very refreshing. Different than what I've had for this style. I feel it's more of an appetizer beer or a nice sharing beer as it is friend request. One collab I enjoyed but I really wanted more.

Pours cloudy amber with almost zero head. Aroma is faint banana and bready malt. Taste has some apple cider notes among malt and caramel. Fairly dry. Much like its sibling this is good bug not great and again a little strange for the style.
