On-tap 3/16/2016 at British Beer Company in Walpole, MA, served in a nonic pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, caramelized malts, citrus and lager yeast.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager yeast and a hearty malt character. Then a strong but not over-powering hops bitterness comes in. Some sweet flavors of citrus and caramel provide a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a while.
