Clear, pale gold color with a modest head. After settling, there are rim bubbles and only a few spots on the glass. Clear.
Light fruitiness to the nose. There's a dried stick smell I've never experienced before. Interesting.
The taste is a departure from the smell because it is dry and fast more bitter. Unlike its aled cousin, this is not a hop bomb even though black pepper flavor is the most dominant. Good body with mildly elevated carbonation. Long hop pellet like aftertaste.
