Pours opaque, dark black in color with minimal head. Taste is cinnamon, cedar, oak, vanilla and roasted malt. Medium body but way lighter than other Framinghammers, low carbonation, sweet. I really like the taste more than I thought I would. That said the body is way off. Way too light. I am on the fence, good taste but that body.

Pours a smaller bubble filled tan head with lower retention, touch of lacing, decent legs, jet black color
Nose wow is that unique, a clear woody aroma but somewhere between like a balsa/beach wood and cedar, very different, taht dominates, with a little bourbon-like note as well, oak spice, a little vanilla character, dark roasted malts and cocoa somewhere underneath, that is super unique although the wood kinda dominates and takes away from the base beer
Taste has the wood again but brings more base beer, dark roasted malts, some cocoa, coffee, etc, but more unique wood with again a mild cedar character mixed with beach wood and mild oak or something, also a bit fruity, some raisiny date characters, more cocoa late with baking spices and a little smooth alcohol, vanilla, hint of whiskey or spirit of some sort, and a little bitterness, mild sweet sticky finish
Mouth is fuller bod, rich, a bit on the chewy side, med to a little light foamy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall this was super unique, the nose was all wood that kinda overpowered the base beer, but the taste had a nice balance with that wood in there, never had anything like it for sure, glad to try it, but not something I would gravitate to

Almost completely flat. Aroma and flavor are nice enough. The wood character is interesting, it gives cinnamon notes. But the carb is a problem and makes the beer feel dead and lifeless. This is 3 straight framinghammer variants that have given me problems. Not likely to buy any anytime soon g UK ven that they're expensive. I dont want to be burned yet again.
