Pours a cloudy light beige. Carbonation is average and light. Very little lace at all here.
Nose says spices -- a little clove and a touch of orange. Not bad.
Taste is likewise spiced, with a hint of lemony hops near the finish. I get a cloying sweetness that hurts the balance, though.
It may be light in body (and thus tailor-made for summer), but this one's unremarkable and not one I'd revisit.

A - Clear, golden yellow, with a white head, very short, without much lacing.
S - Grains, spice. Pretty closed.
T - There is a hop element, bittering the sweeter grain line.
F - Brisk carbonation, easy drinkability.
O - Decent blonde, but I found it fairly standard. Nothing grabbed me.

A-Clear straw yellow, no carbonation, one finger head that doesn't last.
S-Ehh, some straw/wheat not much else, toast and some yeast. Just not much flavor.
T-Straw, wheat, yeast nothing else. No bitterness, no hops.
M-Light, not much carbonation and watery.
O-A bland boring, no reason to buy it beer. Maybe someone would like it in the summer but this beer is avoidable.

While not as flavorful as their Half Court IPA, Lost River Summer is a good beer. It is has a high drink-ability, but without the watery flavor and blandness of other highly drinkable beers (ie: standard American Lagers). The taste, though not as rich as Half-Court, is still quite round and three-dimensional.
