One of Cutters first cask beers, poured from the beer cooler @ the Tap during Bloomington Beer Week. Big and Black to a 12oz snifter with a wisp of a short lasting head.
Vanilla and a wee bit of molasses in the nose, while still chilled.
Big bodied, smooth and creamy with a wee bit of a (surprising) bitter (?) bite upon the first sip. the vanilla is present, but not overwhelming and only barely in front.
Interesting following up the nitro empire across town about an hour ago. Given how great the nitro was, I'd love to have a go at this one on nitro as opposed to cask.
Happy to have had a chance to give this one a try.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
