Look - orangish-gold pour with a small white head...ok lacing
Aroma - tropical, citrus...strong maltiness
Taste - follows the aroma...sweet malts, citrus
Feel - Medium body, decent chew but has an alcoholly aftertaste
Overall - it's ok...I do like the smell...the alcohol aftertaste brings it down a little for me

Poured from a growler filled about 25 mins before opening.
A- a deep burnt orange hue with a decent finger of head that doesn't stick around long
S- sweet malts, resinous plant matter, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, little bit of alcohol towards the end
T- grapefruit/oranges, grassy resin, pineapple, melons, sweet malts. I'm not a fan of a big malt background in IPA's but this one is just enough.
M- medium bodied, not very attenuated, there is some sweetness to play around with the hops. Tiny bit of alcohol noticeable but at 8% that's expected
O- Helltown does a really good job with its hoppy offerings. But there is usually batch variation to the point where some batches are outstanding and some are just ehhhhhh. This one was a pretty good one. I'd like to see them become a bit more consistent. If you see this one on draft I'd venture to say it's going to be better than a lot of the ther beers on though
