pours a hazy wheat color with one-finger white head that lingers on the surface nicely
grapefruit and florals
taste follows the nose, good bitter hop character up front. aftertaste is mild
light and refreshing. i don't get the same dank, resinous feel that others have noted
another well-balanced IPA from Helltown. very drinkable

From a can, best before 11/22/19, poured into a pint glass. Look is a brownish yellow, more yellow than brown. Have a bit of a cold so the smell isn't really jumping off the page, some sweetness but also a noticeable pine. Neither are overbearing. Taste is fairly dank, piney, resiny. Feels balanced-not a hard beer to drink given the bitterness in the taste. O/A This is a decent brew from a decent brewery. No points deducted for using the word "hop" in the name. Always seems a little lazy to me to not give the beer an original name.
This mixed 12 pack (Idle Hands DIPA and Buffy Hazy IPA) was worth the 20 bucks. Would def check out other beers from this brewery. Would note that ABV on the can is listed as 5.8% not 5.5 in the description.

Orangeish-yellow in colow with a heavy hazy and unfiltered floaties. Poured with a moderate, creamy, white foam with medium low retention. Medium malty, citrus, mellow grapefruit and floral hop aromas.Medium bodied with medium carbonation and a light smoothness. Citrus rind and light pineapple flavors with grainy malt up front.medium bitterness though the middle followed by citrus and earthy hop characters a nd malt. Finished semi dryly with light citrus and herbal hop bitterness that quickly taper. I would call this an APA instead of an IPA with respect to balance. Good hop and malt character that is well balanced with an easy, drinkable finish.

Poured hard from growler. Nice fluffy one finger head. Significant lacing on glass. Color leans rusty orange. Nose is pine and citris. Taste is mild hops then bisquit. Nicely bitter but balanced. Feel is medium with ample carbonation. A very good session beer.

Growler purchased today at the brewery poured into a Brew Gentlemen tulip glass:
Look: Pours a hazy light orange to almost yellow color with about an inch of head. Tons of lacing present and the lacing retention is great!
Smell: Getting notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, some pine, and some citrus!
Taste: Taste follows the nose for me! Tons of tropical tasting notes and some pine! On this hot summer day this beer is tasting dank!
Feel: Medium bodied. Nice and crisp on this hot summer day!
Overall: Another solid offering from the crew at Helltown! This is a very solid sessionable IPA. These guys are crushing it on their IPAs! Glad I grabbed a growler of this today while at the bottle release!
