very dark red, almost brown in color. but when held up to the light, a nice ruby hue. tan colored head. rich caramel malt aroma. similar flavor, but not overly sweet. medium to full bodied, smooth feel.

Poured an almost muddy brown-copper body with minimal head and constant lace down the glass. The aroma is mildly hoppy with touch of malt as well. Thick, almost sticky beer, definitely more malty than hoppy but close to balanced, has a bready, earthy hoppiness with an almost herbal citric profile underneath a caramel or toffee sweetness and then finishes dry and easy.
