Poured from can into nonic pint
A: deep ruddy hue with minimal off white head. Reduces to thin collar.
S: big caramel and toasted middle malt notes with a hint of herbal noble hop going on. Nice
T: toffee and rich caramel undertone. A bit sweet.
M: dryness and a bit of chalkiness on ultimate finish. Tiny hint of malted milkballs at ultimate outbreath. Nice
O: pretty good big malty Oktoberfest even if it is a bit heavy on sugars and caramel notes.

From a six pack of cans. Pours a rusty copper color with a nice 2 finger head. Scents of apricot, caramel, and toffee. Great scents in the beer. Taste is fabulous, possibly the best Helltown I’ve had yet but to be fair, I am partial to the style. Full, rich mouthfeel. Extremely smooth with a clean, dry finish and very strong for the style. Toffee and caramel lead the way in a great stab by the PA brewing company of the classic German style!
