After 2 slightly gushing cans on the open, poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is gold, a translucent but not really hazy, head presents 2 inches thick and lingers with solid thick, frothy top.
Smell is light malt, toast, hint of biscuit, neutral grassy, earth hops with a hint of pine.
Taste is light malt, not as much notable toast/biscuit flavor as the aroma, neutral hops with lighter notes of earthy/grass/pine with a pithy finish.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness with dry finish.
Overall this a bit disappointing from the gusher cans to middling flavor and dry flavor/finish. Helltown seems to handle the maltier beers better.
