"Creamy oatmeal infused stout featuring Williamette hops"
They serve this on nitro-tap at the Whistle Stop.
Jet black with murky mahogany edges. Thin layer of creamy mocha foam, it dissipates leaving a glassy obsidian surface. Unfiltered with some suspended sediment visible.
Chocolatey aroma, slight notes of toasted almond and plum. Flavors are similar, some lingering earthy, bitter dark chocolate with a dry finish. Minor notes of perceptible alcohol offset the smoothness of the flavors a little, but not overly distracting. Overall, this is pretty tasty, it needs some finessing to tone down the alcohol though.
