A: The beer is hazy dark yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Strong aromas of rum raisin ice cream are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has lots of flavors of rum, but without any alcohol, and has some sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite good for a gluten-free beer and doesn't have any "off" flavors. It just seemed like it should have had a heavier body for something that is bursting with lots of aromas and flavors of rum.
Note: 2015 vintage

Bottle: Poured a murky bright orange/amber color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of boozy rum notes with residual sugar notes are very much dominant. Taste is mostly dominated by boozy rum notes with some light spices that are also dominated. Body is pretty full with medium carbonation and some apparent alcohol. The concept around this beer sounds really great on paper but the amount of rum in reality overshadows the other flavours.

Shared this with my gluten intolerant friend and we both enjoyed it.
Poured from a 750ml bottle.
Color of the body is a dirty brown but light, kind of like a dark ginger ale if that makes sense. Aroma is unique; i get celery salt, cappuccino coffee, maple, molasses. Much the same in the flavor and it all melds together in a way that makes it quite special. Hope they make this again.
