Cloudy light golden in color with a small head that not totally white (a little bit darker) with lots of carbonation.

Awesome hoppy smell, I'm not an expert in hops but I feel like the Galaxy aromas come out more than the Nelson Sauvin, let's see in the mouth what it tastes.

Really nice tropical flavor paired with a traditional wheat taste. Lots of taste from the hops but the bitterness is not overwhelming.

Nice mouth feel, lots of carbonation on the tongue.

A:
Pours a bright cloudy orange-gold with two fingers of beige head with tiny bubbles. Okay retention; scummy swoops of lacing. (3.75)

S:
Immediately sweet and fruity on opening the bottle. Green, lemon, musty, leafy, spicy hops, and also something incredibly familiar that I cannot put my finger on for the life of me. (4)

T:
Similar to the aroma. Green hops, white wine, biscuit, pithy bitterness, some citrus, slightly medicinal from the hops. (3.5)

M:
Bubbly with a medium body, smooth with a slightly obnoxious finish, not very drinkable after a while. (3.5)

O:
Pretty okay beer.
This is a passable weizen with Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops. It looks all right in the glass and smells pretty good. The flavor and palate in general are dry and dank hop bitternesses, but the yeast (I think) creates a really off-putting bitterness that kind of makes it less enjoyable for me than it otherwise could be. It is either the yeast or their water that does it, though, because this is not the only one of their beers has burned me out with an obnoxious "gross" (to me at least) flavor. Would not have again; but you can try it, it might be something with my taste buds. (3.5)

A pale golden color with a slight haze. The aroma is confusing, honestly. Clove comes through as the most dominant note, which is something I really don't care for in Hopfenweisse styles. I also get a bit of citrus, mainly grapefruit and maybe a bit of pineapple; a faint touch of sweet malt is also there. On the palate I got a lot of grapefruit initially, which is odd since I usually don't associate Galaxy and Sauvin with grapefruit( Perhaps the yeast strain did something unusual?). It was surprisingly bitter as well, but it a nice way. I also got some slight spice notes on the palate coupled with a bit of bready wheat malt. Nice full body with carbonation leaning more on the ipa side versus the weiss side. It's nice to see some new breweries popping up and experimenting, this beer wasn't exactly my prime pick but I'd be happy to try more beers from them.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of huge dry hoppy notes with some light grassy notes. Taste is also dominated by loads of dry hoppy notes with some light grassy notes. Light funky notes are also noticeable with some solid wheat malt. Body is full with excellent carbonation. Good but the hops are just too dominating which leaves very little drinkability.

Nose of orange peel, hops and alcohol.
In mouth, sweet hops are dominant and bring a floral aroma. Orange taste comes in final with a hint of alcohol.
Bitterness is moderated and fruity.
A nice beer overall and a good representation of the style.
