Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of a tan color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, slight sweet malt, hops, hint of smoke, and hint of syrup. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with a low carbonation level. There is a noticeable dryness. Tastes of hops, strong roasted malt, slight sweet malt, hint of smoke, hint of oatmeal, and a hint of coffee. Overall, good aroma, feel, body, and complexity.
