Pours a black color. No head, no lacing, and not retention. Smells of sweet malt, hot peppers, hint of roasted malt, hint of chocolate, hint of hops, and spices. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth, clean, with low carbonation. There is a noticeable heat from the hot peppers. The heat is intense in the beginning and then mellows by the finish. Tastes of sweet malt, hot peppers, hint of alcohol, hint of hops, hint of roasted malt, slight chocolate, hint of coffee, and spices. More flavors appear as the heat that dominates your palate diminishes. I meant to have one and walked away after three. Addicting if you enjoy pepper beers, pretty good even if you don't.
