Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of peppermint, chocolate, roasted malt, slight sweet malt, and coffee. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of coffee, peppermint, slight chocolate, sweet malt, and hint of roasted malt. Overall, good aroma, great feel, good body, blend, and complexity. The peppermint and coffee complement each other amazingly. The feel sealed the deal for me, a peppermint/coffee blend that does not have a resistant flavor. Another one of Jeff's (Exit 6's owner, brew master, and jack of all trades) addicting beers.
