Founded by local home brewer legend Bob “Dr” Love, this cream ale is flavored with both fresh raspberries and fresh jalapenos. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s awesome. This beer is available in the late spring, early summer.

On tap. Poured a clear, amber color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of jalapeno and caramel. Nice spicy heat with a potent jalapeno heat. Enough maltiness balances out the spice.

This beer was initially a cream that had raspberry and jalapeno added. I had a hard time suggesting just one style (Fruit/Vegetable, Chili, or Cream?). I designated it as a Cream, even though the Cream is hard to distinguish after the addition of jalapeno and raspberry. Pours a clear, copper color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of raspberry, chili, slight pale malt, and a hint of cream. Fits the style of a Cream. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of chili, raspberry, slight pale malt, and a hint of cream in the finish. The chili and the raspberry are perfectly blended; neither is dominate. The initial chili taste is quickly replaced by the sweet raspberry, which is replaced by the small amount of chili heat. I can't say enough good about this beer. Unusual - yes, fits into multiple style - yes, but ultimately a really good beer that is very sessionable. This is a rare beer that an addition of chili does not overshadowed the remaining brew.
