Pours a black color. 1/5 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of coffee, sweet malt, roasted malt, alcohol, and slight toffee. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a hint of tartness. Tastes of coffee, sweet malt, toffee, alcohol, hint of wood, and a hint of hops. Overall, good aroma, feel, body, and blend, but weak appearance.
