Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy burnt yellow to orange color. Just a film of head accompanied the beer and slid into a slight messy lace. The aroma had some stuffy dough, super sweet sugars, lemon pulp, dried grass, dried dark fruit and some hay. The flavor was super sweet aligning the dough to the dark fruits and sugars. Tough doughy aftertaste with an odd overly sweet finish. The feel was about medium bodied with not much sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, oh geez, and I thought my homebrews were bad. Most likely not again.

A: hazy; deep gold; almost no head; a thin collar; no lacing;
S: muted; some tropical fruit;
T: a touch of lemon up front; medicinal all the way through; a bit of tartness at mid-palate that fades quickly; some spice on the finish;
M: medium bodied; prickly carbonation;
O: bottle is 5 months old, which could clearly be a detriment, but this was tough to drink;
