Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about twelve dollars. Have had a couple of brews from these guys before. Thought this was ok, nothing special.

Lumpy, large, long-lasting head. Chunky webby lace on the glass as the head subsides. The liquid is straw color and quite hazy.
Clean, mostly pale malt aroma. Light hop touch to the nose. Pleasant and slightly sweet.
Interestingly strong malt flavor with a powerful alcohol presence. The hop is surprisingly subdued but very present and it causes a lengthy (and well-balanced) aftertaste. My initial impression was that this was a rich beer, probably because of the large flavors, but in reality, this has a relatively thin body. The carbonation is also muted.

Fruit-forward, hefty, clean. I give the Look of the beer high marks because it doesn't masquerade as fruit juice; nice golden amber color out of the can with a big, puffy head. Aroma is heavy on citrus - pineapple, melon, guava - and pine on the backend. Not overly acidic like a lot of NE IPAs but it's big on fruit of the tropical variety. Taste is right there with a huge hop-hit at the outset of the can that seems to fade a bit as your palate gets assaulted the flavors. Again - lots of tropical fruit like guava, papaya and fresh lychee - but nothing too acidic. There's a noticeable bitterness to the end of the sip that certainly doesn't balance the proceedings but keeps it from straying into NE DIPA territory. Pleasant mouthfeel that's on the softer side; you can still feel the weight of the beer by way of the big hop profile but the alcohol is very well hidden. Finishes with a nice pop. Surprisingly easy drinking for the style.
