Poured from can into a tulip glass.

Poured a beautiful hazy orange color with a great fluffy 2 finger head. Lacing was minimal.

Tropical fruity goodness is the first thing you smell. Aromas of sweet fruits and juices are very present.

A ton of grapefruit and citrus peels hit the palate right away. Tropical fruit notes are very subtle. You get a bit of mango and pineapple in the after. Bitter hoppy taste lingers behind after each sip. As it warms up you get to taste the sweet malty notes balancing this very well.

Light carbonation and medium bodied. It's a bit dry and leaves no stickiness.

Definitely not a juice bomb and is refreshing to have a change in the New England IPA scene. Sticks to what IPAs were and that's a good thing. Backlash, I salute you.

Oh, to be in New England! Land of NEIPAs!

Pours a cloudy golden color in a Spiegelau glass with a 4F head.
Good head retention. Lots of lacing.

Aroma: earthy, lemon citrus,vanilla.

Great MF. very smooth for the style. Easy to drink.

Excellent taste: the crescendo leads to lots of citrus packed by a spicy, hoppy finish.

One of my favorite beers from Backlash. Will buy again.

16oz can dated 7/20/17.

Pours clear gold with an orange hue. Light chill haze with an average head and retention. Aromatics are dank and fruity. Oranges with onions and spice-dusted peaches. Medium bodied with a bit of a tacky, resinous mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate with some sweet malt to balance and a low bitterness. Shades of apricot and honey. Finishes pretty dry with a lingering bitterness and warmth on the throat.

Nice beer but would like it a bit drier, and of course more hops!

Poured from a 16 oz. can.
Contract brewed and canned at Dorchester Brewing Co.
Boston, MA
Moderate pour yields a one inch plus white head over a golden amber body with sticky lacing. Head dissipates to a ring but comes back nicely with a swirl or two. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and a bit of onion. Flavors shine with a nice fruitiness and a bitter, citrus finish. Good feel and overall a pretty good job from these gypsy brewers.

Found this at my local craft brew place in Maine, recommended by the crew. Good market penetration for a small/newish brewery!
Pleasant enough. Golden orange with a quickly dissipating head. Tastes great, mango, hints of pineapple, orange rind and a little pine. High abv is masked well. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Worth buying again.

Candied orange peel, grapefruit, melon, unripe mango and pine. Fairly malt forward. Citrus rind bitterness. Drier, semi-earthy finish. Hmm. I want to love this beer, but I feel it's just a tad to malty for me. On the old school side of dipa. Still pretty good.
