Cloudy gold color. Decent head which leaves broad streaks on the glass.
Light, toasted caramel sweetness to the nose. The hop is rather faint but provides a decent balance.
The taste leans sweet with a strong enough hop kick for balance. Relatively rich but also with a much higher than usual carbonation. The finish increases the intensity of the hop leaving a long, dry bitter aftertaste.

Melon, orange rind, cantaloupe, tangerine and pine. Heavier malt presence. Medium bodied, bit of a syrupy feel. Nicely balanced, decently clean. Semi dry. Not bad, but missing the dank Galaxy punch I was expecting.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Long Ridge Wine and Spirits for about twelve dollars. Have had Backlash brews before, and liked them. This is a very solid brew, a bit of a strange aftertaste, would buy again.

Canned 11/13/17
Pours a huge frothy foamy head that hits 2 fingers and fades slowly with messy lacing, very clear honey blond color
NOse big tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, a bit of citrus tangerine, big bright tropical fruit juice, a bit of bready malt backbone.
Taste brings juicy tropical fruit again, pineapple, passion fruit, guava, papaya, a bit of tangerine citrus, tropical fruit juice very bright, a bit of a grassy spicy hop undertone, very light malt somehow and even with the minimal bitterness it seems to come through with the mild alcohol warmth, wish it was a bit more balanced. Finishes drier, a bit of alcohol and polyphenol burn, some bitterness
Mouth is med bod, feels a little light for what it is, fluffy carb, little alcohol and polyphenol like burn
Overall mixed, great galaxy but no real balance, some polyphenol and alcohol burn in there and very little malt, glad it's not malty syrupy sweet or big bready or anything like that, but wish it had a bit more body.
