Sample at the source.
Pours a hazy electric yellow with a tightly bubbled white head that persists. Genius name. Earthy grassy citrus and tropical fruits with a bready malt underneath. Earthy gritty mouthfeel. Yup a NEIPA.

Pours bright orange gold with a thin, silky head that settles to a film. Lacing does not stick to the glass well.
Aroma is fairly strong with some grapefruit and nectarine notes but also a twinge of something sweeter like papaya.
Taste follows the smell pretty closely. This has a great flavor profile, starting off with a semi-sweet and smooth citrus zest - grapefruit and tangerine. The stone fruit comes in part way through along with some really great fruit candy sweetness - but not overly sweet which is what makes it great. Bitterness kicks in near the finish and counteracts the sweetness very well. As it warms up a bit a touch of dankness comes through from the Idaho 7 hops. Smartly not overdone.
Feel is super soft and creamy, like good orange juice just coating the mouth. Again, very well done.
This is a well crafted NEIPA, not too sweet but pulling out some very pleasant flavors. I like the stone fruit flavors as well. Backlash has not overly excited me in the past but I will give them a little more attention now if this is how they are putting together beer these days.

Pine, resin, unripe mango, tangerine zest and grapefruit pith. Lots of citrus and grapefruit bitterness. Biscuit malt. Lower sweetness. Fairly dry, shorter finish. Really good without being too sweet or bitter.
