The standard Warka was ok and great value...the mocne Warka was terrible and difficult to finish. This says top quality on the can, not a great sign. The green colour of the can is, quite simply, not a great design. This could be a poem almost.
Appearance in my glass is surprisingly good. Lots of smooth head. Foamy, slightly chloriney hoppy aroma, not much that is detectable.
Crisp, quite light flavour. I like the lightness of the malt. Hops taste totally fine, though overall there isn't much flavour at all. The taste is more similar to water than an IPA. Mouth feel is really thin, and quite simple. From memory I think I preferred the usual Warka, I'm not sure exactly what the difference is.
Still, it's a totally ok budget lager/pilsner. It's just a little too weak and simple. Yet, the sweetness and light hops balance fine, and the hops have a pretty good kind of light German/Czech flavour.
It's totally fine, just easy to get bored of fast. But it's amazing value. Zubr however is about the same price, but far superior, stronger and with a much more interesting flavour and can design.
