Tasted on tap at the brewery restaurant in a snifter.
L - Medium to deep brown and fairly clear. Tan head is strong and creamy.
S - Clean malt, brown sugar, molasses. Low, fruity hops and yeast notes.
T - Bready malt, molasses. Low, earthy hops in the background. Flavors deep and complex.
F - Thick body, moderate, creamy carbonation; silky mouthfeel. Low to medium hops bitterness counteracts the sweet malt. Strong alcoholl presence.
O - This is an excellent English barley wine. It is deep, complex and satisfying.
