Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is wheat, banana, and clove. Medium bodied and carbonation. Makes for a solid hefe. Not on par with German counterparts but solid.

A- With just a bit of agitation, this beers pours just like you would expect a hefe to pour, light and cloudy. A small to medium sized and fluffy head forms and sticks around for a bit before lacing just a little. The color of the beer is not quite as white as other examples of the style, but it is trending in the right direction.
S- Right up front, there is no mistaking what style this beer is with a blast of spice and banana-bubblegum hitting the nose. There is a touch of wheat grain under the initial flavors hitting the nose Other than those, this beer just smells like a classic hefe.
T- Taking a sip of this beer, the tongue is greeted with the light, wheat flavors the style is known for. After a bit, the wheat is largely done and the flavor moves toward a light touch of coriander and some banana flavor from the yeast. At the back end of the drink, the bubblegum flavor ramps up and becomes prominent as the lingering flavor on the tongue after the drink.
M- On the palate, this beer is fairly thick, yet still mostly light in body. The carbonation level is still relatively high, but still might be a little under the typical amount for the style. On the whole, this beer drinks and feels just like it should for the style.
Overall, this is a pretty decent iteration of a classic style. So far, of Italian beers that I have had, this is the best Italian attempt of a classic style. Would love to try this one on tap and in proper glassware rather than in a hotel glass!

Grazie to Peggy & Denis for lugging this back from Venice!
(3.5) A: Tangerine coloured with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to form a ring.
(3.75) S: Grains, cloves, oranges, honey, and nice floral qualities. Fairly aromatic and spice focused for the style.
(3.75) T: Cloves, tangerine, some banana, grains, floral elements, and honey. Similar to aroma with spices and floral qualities coming through nicely, accompanied with light citrus tastes.
(3.5) M: Lighter bodied with a higher carbonation that is both on-par for the style. Dry with a slight gritty/chalky texture.
(3.75) D: This is a good, flavourful hefe with a solid focus on spices, citrus, and floral. Wouldn't say this is a true hefe but more of a general white ale.

Pours pale yellow in color. Hazy. With a fluffy white head that disappeared too quickly. Sweet aroma. A touch of clove and banana notes. I am getting some grassy notes as well. Taste is a bit of a shock at first. Too sweet. Banana mostly. Not much aftertaste - just a lingering sweetness on the tip of the tongue. Refreshing. Fairly light-bodied. Very easy drinking. I think there are some off flavors in the taste, but overall a decent beer. If I am in Venice, I wouldn't mind picking up this local brew (my bottle was brought from a trip by a very good friend as a souvenir for me).
