Had on tap at the brewery, and bought a 6 pack to go. Light copper color, thin, bubbly, tan head with little lacing. The aroma is amazing. Floral and citrus hops with sweet, caramel malt. The flavor is solid, a true American IPA thru and thru. Grapefruit and pine with some grassy and floral notes. A bit of malt to smooth things out. Crisp finish and a nice, citrus aftertaste. Another great beer from Mad River.

Can’t decide if you want a stout or an ipa? This is your beer. I wanted an ipa so I wasn’t into this one. I will say I can’t remember having anything else like it.

Found this in the local mix and match. Not many reviews. Into a imperial pint glass looks fairly dark for an IPA very hazy deep orange brown with a 1/4 inch of frothy head. Smell is kind of muted some citra hops and some sugary malts but the taste is awesome very balanced malt to hop ratio that doesn't get too bitter or heavy. Body is light to medium and easy to finish.

Overall I suspect the bottle I found was kind of old due to the muted smell and hazy look. Would love to drink it again fresh!
