A: The beer pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head.

S: Plenty of bourbon and oak with just a mild vanilla note. There's a nice toasted malt character to it along with some hints of dark fruit and a little bit of toasted nuts and roasted malt.

T: A bit more sweet and malty on the palate. Caramel and toffee flavors with an increased amount of vanilla from the nose. Moderate bourbon notes with a nice nuttiness and a very subtle roast.

M: Medium bodied with a low to medium carbonation.

O: Significantly better than the regular one I had last year. The wonders of barrel aging...
