Pours a purplish amber and smells amazing. I was a little curious about the black currants and was glad they didn't scare me away. The taste was a blend of tart and sweetness that is reminiscent of flavors in candies. The Black Currants and Brettanomyces were delicious. You could taste the passion of brewing in every sip. Mad River brewing proves again why they are my favorite brewery in Humboldt with La Cassis
